Butter Chicken Recipe from Student’s Dhaba



  1. Cut chicken in small cubes
  2. Mix with ginger garlic paste
  3. Add one cup water to chicken cubes and bring to a boil
  4. Add the food coloring
  5. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes in medium heat
  6. When chicken is half cooked, remove from stock and leave aside
  7. Take the stock and add tomato purée, seven spice/garam masala, paprika, salt & turmeric
  8. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes in medium heat
  9. Keep stirring at 5-minute intervals
  10. When purée is dark and bubbling add cream and stir
  11. Mix and finally add the chicken cubes and cook for 5 to ten minutes
  12. When ready add Fenugreek leaves and cover
  13. After 3/4 minutes it is ready serve
